Intrauterine insemination (AIH or IUI)
What is it?
It consists in introducing appropriately prepared seminal fluid into the uterine cavity, using a cannula that permits painless and non-traumatic introduction through the cervical canal. Seminal fluid processing is a technique that makes it possible to select motile and viable sperm.
Useful information
It is recommended in cases of idiopathic infertility or mild male-factor infertility. It can be performed using either the seminal fluid of the male partner of the couple or using seminal fluid from a donor.
